This interior home remodelling was done in the kitchen and the bathrooms. We also changed the general flooring and finished the project with a complete paint job.
Kitchen refinish, plumbing and lighting
For this interior home remodelling, we were refinishing all cabinetry in the kitchen. This included three finish coats of Poly Urethane. Furthermore, we installed new plumbing to finish the grade, including an under-mount sink, tab, and garburator. Next, our team placed new median grade quartz countertops on the island and desktop. Moreover, we added a contemporary backsplash where applicable. Last but not least, our guys dealt with all the lighting. In this case, we installed a new LED under counter lighting and illuminated the dining area.
General Flooring
To start off, we removed and disposed of all the existing flooring in all the general areas. Subsequently, we re-screwed all the subfloor where required and prepped the floor for installation. For the kitchen and the family room, the client chose ¾ inch Oak Nail Down Wood flooring. The laundry room and bathrooms were fitted with tile and grout to finish. The family opted for Krauss Nylon carpet for the upstairs bedrooms including an 8LB underpad. Finally, we put in new baseboards throughout the home.
Powder room, ensuite- and hall bathroom
First, we removed and disposed of existing showers, tubs, floor tiles, plumbing and countertops in the ensuite- and hall bathroom and powder room.
Powder room
We replaced the vanity countertop with median grade quartz in the powder room. Next, we implemented new lighting and handles and added an under-mount sink, including new taps. Last but not least, the team gave an existing mirror a ‘facelift’ by adding a chrome metal trim.
Hall bathroom
The remodelling of the hall bathroom included a new tub with all the applicable plumbing and insured a waterproof finish with the red guard. We improved the look with median grade quartz countertops, under-mount skins and other stylish accessories.
Ensuite bathroom
In the ensuite bathroom, we utilize spare white shower tiles to repair an existing tub deck. Next, we built a custom Seriloid shower system replacing tiles for the wall and pan. Additionally, we installed a frameless glass enclosure with all the hardware and new plumbing. Our client chose to have the cabinets in this bathroom refinished. Last but not least, again median grade quartz countertops, new sinks, and taps were added. We finished this project with an all-over interior paint job.
